Zane holds an
M.F.A. in Writing and Literature from Bennington College and has over twenty years experience developing
and implementing varieties of curriculum for students of all
ages. Her programs utilize creative writing and visual
arts as a tool for improving skills in the writing process, creating
self efficacy, and for healing and self expression.
As a Master
Teaching Artist she has conducted highly effective programs in poetry,
oral history, personal essay, and drama. Her "Write Perspectives" program
has been used with special education and at-risk populations. Her
curriculum often incorporates the exploration of cultural diversity
and tolerance through writing. Ms. Zane has a variety of established
curriculums and is able to tailor any of her programs to suit
the needs of her customers.
Ms. Zane is currently available
for evening workshops and readings in libraries, educational and
arts agencies, clinical programs, and youth programs.
Fees are negotiable depending on travel and type of workshop/residency.
